So far so good
First RYA Day Skipper exam over and I feel fairly confident, think I got most of the right answers but I'll find out tomorrow after the second paper. Today we covered the joys of Chartwork, dead reckoning and course to steer, being initiated into the wonders of a vessel on passage records the time, log reading and positions in the log book. At 1400 the position is 46 24.89N and 006 21.30W, plot this position on the chart. If the boat is steering 205(M) at 6 Knots then plot a DR for 1500. If the tidal Stream is 186(T) at 1.2 Knots then what is the EP for 1500? Good Stuff ehh!
