Just an aside from a Councillor at the North Hartlepool Neighborhood Forum on Wednesday
"I'm on the Tall Ships Board myself, but we haven't had a meeting yet........."
Well they had better hurry up if they plan on contributing anything to the event. Surprisingly I wasn't asked if I would be interested in being on any of the committees. Of course as someone who started sailing when I was about 6 years old I suppose I wouldn't have anything to offer and no doubt Hartlepool Council is full members who hold RYA Qualifications as Day Skippers and who have actual experience of sailing as a crew member on board these vessels?
