After Planning today I visited the new "Member's Lounge" in the Civic Centre. It looked very nice and is very shiny and new. The old members Lounge was the only place in the Civic Centre that still used to smell of cigarette smoke, but that was reportedly because of its direct access to an outdoor garden/patio area. The new lounge is n the first floor so no outside play area for the Councillors. I wonder who gets the garden office now?
PS I was also told today that Hartlepool Council now uses that many consultants that we are employing Consultants to advise on which consultants to employ. The lunatics are definitely taking over the asylum!
